Enlightenment 101
We live in a perfect world.
A perfect world, would be expected to be a world filled only with love, but this is not the world we perceive.
The world we perceive is a continuous flow of ever changing still-frames of perception, reality being a comfortable continuity amongst the swirling cosmic complexity and the state of all things as they appear or might be imagined.
Consciousness is perception, it is the reflection of a canvass of space-time upon which is painted life and sentience. Consciousness is: being the entangled experience of intelligence as both observer and participant.
This is a perfect world.
But in this perfect world there is suffering, so how can I be sure that this is a perfect world?
Everyone suffers in this world because everyone has lost something that they have held on too,
Everyone suffers in this world because everyone has lost something that they love.
This separation is a fog which blinds us from truth, and it is easy to become lost.
All the paths of life lead to the same place, your choice is what is experienced on those paths.
For the world that we perceive is only a small fraction of the world in which we live, and what we perceive is the result of what we have experienced in the world in which we live
We learn, grow, adapt, and evolve
We are guided by our memories
Memory is an archive of a mental event
a Mental event is a snapshot of our thoughts, our feelings, our intuition and our reason at a particular moment in time
A mental event is the result of a sensation
a sensation is a collection of information collected by the senses
Mental events, memories, and sensations are the result of direct and indirect observations of actions and re-actions, the choices we make, and how those choices effect ourselves and the world around us.
Mental events, memories, sensations, choices, actions, and re-actions, are all events that are held within space-time,
Within space-time there is duality
Duality is the dividing of a whole into a pair of opposites such as light and dark
In duality love is divided into a pair of opposites
On one end there is ‘unity’ and at the other end there is ‘the pain of separation’
One who is experiencing the pain of separation is in a state of desire
Desire is the craving or longing for unity, for love.
Desire is the fire that sets action aflame.
Action and Re-action are responsible for the mental events, memories, and sensations, which are responsible for our thoughts, feelings, and reasoning, which are responsible for our perceptions of the world.
Love is the fundamental creation force of life and the universe, because desire is the driving force of action and re-action among sentience.
So essentially suffering functions as an invisible force which pushes consciousness toward unity and love

so this is my question„ if I need to move beyond personal barriers of affection, of love, etc. how do I do so if I were never given the opportunity to experience it in the first place? What can be done moving beyond the barriers that hold me back?
